Scotiabank Resilience Fund

The Scotiabank Resilience Fund was established in December 2020 as a way to continue to support Nova Scotians and those affected by recent tragedies in Colchester and East Hants. The Scotiabank Resilience Fund will reduce barriers to support by enhancing existing programs and creating new mental health initiatives in communities throughout the region. The Scotiabank Resilience Fund is now accepting applications through the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia’s Community Grants program. Funding will be awarded to successful applicants to support organizations and individuals working in a mental health capacity in Spring 2021.

“We are proud to support the important work of the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia. In the midst of the global health pandemic, we recognize the positive impact that essential programs and support services have on improving the wellbeing of our communities.”

- Peter Fitzner, Scotiabank North East Nova Scotia District Vice President

The Scotiabank Resilience Fund will help improve access to programs and services for those living with mental health issues, with a focus on those affected by the tragedies in Colchester - East Hants.
