At the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia, we are working to provide hope and eradicate the stigma associated with mental illness and addiction while providing funding to vital community initiatives. As part of a charity dedicated to changing the way people think, we ‘re looking for leader who are dedicated to doing just that. We're champions for funding mental health programs and services so that Nova Scotians are thriving in their communities. We're looking for people who are passionate about not only changing the way people think but changing the way people act in their desire for more accessible, inclusive and effective mental health and addiction services.
Volunteers can also help the Foundation by hosting a fundraiser!
We have an open and inclusive environment built on positivity, respect, support and a vision of Nova Scotians living well with mental illness and addiction. We practice what we set out to provide by asking for help, practicing self-care, and putting all issues on the table. We welcome individuals from all communities, backgrounds, experiences, and cultures.
