Tunnel of Hope 2021

  • Tunnel of Hope- Salter Street Boardwalk 5053 Salter Street Halifax, NS Canada (map)

Tunnel of Hope 2020

We all deserve to feel hope. After the brilliant success of last year’s tunnel, we’re levelling up with an LED light tunnel synchronized with seasonal music.

Located along the Salter Street Boardwalk on the Halifax waterfront, the Tunnel of Hope is brought to you by Emera and Nova Scotia Power in support of the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia. It is sure to add a touch of magic to your holiday season as you follow the glow of Evergreen Bright, a walkable outdoor trail of twinkling holiday lights along the waterfront and throughout downtown Halifax.

Not only do we believe there is light at the end of the tunnel, but that hope can be found at any stage of the journey. Light and sound have long been a source of healing across many cultures. They’re known to promote social integration, improve mood, reduce anxiety and depression, and increase self-esteem. As you traverse our 150-foot illuminated tunnel, you will be inspired and uplifted by the stunning visuals and sound.

You can help us provide hope and eradicate stigma surrounding mental disorders by making a donation to the Tunnel of Hope. Together we can keep changing the way people think.
