April 9, 2025 – Body Movin’ 2025 has officially come to a close — and what a movement it was! Nova Scotians across the province walked, danced, skipped and played their way through some of the toughest months of the year to raise $76,482 in support of improved mental wellness.

The Foundation is awarding $1.5M in Community Grant funding to support 72 community-based mental health initiatives occurring across Nova Scotia. This funding helps community organizations across the province deliver timely, relevant and local mental health and addictions support. 

January 29, 2025 — Being physically active is scientifically proven to enhance your mental health, no matter how you do it. That’s why we’re encouraging Nova Scotians of all ages to get their Body Movin’, and we’re thrilled that residents of Parkland at the Gardens are joining the movement!
