Friends of Stan Carew will sing covers of his songs in a memorial tribute concert

We’ve Got You Covered, Stan is a fundraising event with proceeds to The Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.
When Stan Carew, the much loved host of Weekend Mornings, passed away suddenly on July 6th, he was one month shy of his 65th birthday and two months short of his retirement from the CBC. He was looking forward to spending time with two things he loved, songwriting and playing music with friends. He planned a new CD and release/retirement party with musical friends singing his own compositions.
Many of Stan’s friends will pay tribute to him by doing just that in concert on Sunday, September 27th
Stan’s singing friends include Maritime artists:
Matt Mays, John Cambelljohn, Catherine MacLellan, Gabriel Minnikin,
Rose Cousins, Ryan Cook, Naming The Twins, Betty Belmore,
Norma MacDonald, Cassie Josephine, Erin Dunsworth,
Christina Martin and Dale Murray.
The band is made up of well-known musicians:
Geoff Arsenault, Bill Stevenson, Richie Richmond, Cathy Porter,
Gabriel Minnikin, Daniel Baugh, Asa Brosius, Cassie Josephine and
Kristin Hatt Lewis
