Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia receives generous anonymous donation

On Wednesday, December 17, 2014, the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia received an anonymous donation of $40,000.

$25,000 is to be allocated to the PTSD Service Dog for First Responders initiative in partnership with military veteran and mental health advocate Medric Cousineau. The additional $15,000 will be allocated to the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia’s annual granting program.

The anonymous donor noted that they had listened to a recent media interview with President & CEO Starr Dobson, detailing the new PTSD Service Dog program and the work the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia supports in communities across the province.
