Gene’s studies in art began in Boston, leading to The National Academy in New York and state academy of Holland in Amsterdam. Gene owns his own gallery and has spent many years teaching youth, adults and seniors about art. He has been the representative for Visual Arts Nova Scotia and the coordinator of several exhibitions for selected jury showings. Gene enjoys painting maritime and local subject matter and finds great joy in his work.
