The Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia with presenting sponsor BMO Bank of Montreal is proud to present the 9th annual A Different Stage of Mind Friday, February 17th, 2012 at the World Trade & Convention Centre.

Bruce MarchandBruce Marchand of McInnes Cooper embodied “Slowhand” Eric Clapton, with impeccable performances of Layla and After Midnight. Bruce took home top honours with the coveted Primetime Star Award, acknowledging his milestone achievement of most dollars raised for mental health.

As a partner in the Halifax office of McInnes Cooper, Bruce has been practicing banking, corporate and commercial law since 1982 and has spent his fair share of days working After Midnight.

Bruce Marchand - TV GuideAn active member of his community, Bruce is helping to Change the World through his work with many local charitable and business organizations including the QEII Foundation, the Nova Scotia Business Hall of Fame and the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council.

In 2009, Bruce received a Vision Award from the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia to recognize his outstanding commitment to Nova Scotians impacted by mental illness.

Bruce lives in Hammonds Plains with his wife, Sally and has two sons, Matthew and Adam. In his spare time, Bruce likes to ski, golf, kayak and strum a guitar now and then.
