Toshiba and Dymaxion Research Ltd. Donate Computer to Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia
Toshiba Canada Limited has generously donated a laptop computer to the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia. On December 3rd, Wayne Sutherland, Atlantic Region Manager for Toshiba Canada Ltd., and Nick Jupp, Vice President of Operations for Dymaxion Research Ltd., donated a Toshiba Notebook Satellite Pro Laptop Computer to the Foundation office in Dartmouth.
“This state of the art computer will make a huge difference in our office”, said Mary Lou Crowley, President & CEO of the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia. “As we continue to build awareness across the Province, this laptop will be a key tool for staff members and volunteers on the road.”
Toshiba donated a laptop to the Mental Health Foundation nine years ago and Sutherland figured it was time for a new one. As a former Foundation Board Trustee, the subject of good mental health holds a special place for him.
“Toshiba has always looked at supporting good causes and charitable donations and the Mental Health Foundation and mental health in general has always been one of my personal choices to support and so it was an easy decision for me”.
The Board and staff of the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia would like to thank Toshiba and Dymaxion Research Ltd. for their generous gift.
