Board of Directors/Committees: Directors are elected for a three-year term and have the opportunity to assist in such areas as fundraising, budget planning, funding disbursement and special event planning.
Festival of Trees: Opportunities for this wonderful series of festive events are available for various activities such as: Auction, Art Gallery, Luncheon, Gala, Brunch and Trees. We also need enthusiastic volunteers to assist at individual events, from choirs to comedians, from cashiers to balloon-tiers, from tree-baggers to hostesses. The Festival of Trees offers a volunteer opportunity for everyone.
The Golf Classic Fore Mental Health: This fun and unique tournament requires volunteers to solicit sponsors, prizes, participants and to assist with activites during the event.
A Different Stage of Mind: A fun and informal event take place in February each year. A Different Stage of Mind engages high profile individuals inthe Halifax business community and places them in front of an environment different from what they are used to - a variety show.
The Foundation has over 300 volunteers annually, working as Board Members, Event Chairs, Committee Members and Event Volunteers. If you want to help in Changing the Way People Think, call 464-6000 for information on volunteering.
